Harvesting Seeds

Last night we harvested the seeds from some of our green peppers. We are only harvesting a small amount, so we picked the seeds from the central cone.  I just read a tip about harvesting pepper seeds. If you are harvesting a lot of seeds, cut the tops of the peppers off around the stem and place them in a blender with water.  Carefully blend.... LOL ...whatever that means, and when most of the seeds have separated stop blending and the seeds will sink to the bottom.

This is the fist time I've tried growing peppers from seeds, so I hope it works out. We usually buy the plants already started. We will be building the new garden boxes in the back yard soon.
